Donate now to provide medical services for someone in your local Bend community
Volunteers in Medicine is a nonprofit clinic that cares for adults who don't have health insurance. Patients are from low-income working families in Central Oregon. None are eligible for Affordable Care Act programs. Most are immigrants with multiple part-time jobs. All care and support is provided by medical and non-medical volunteers, at no cost to the patient. The clinic does not receive state or federal monies. It is funded solely by donations and grants. Around 1,000 patients call VIM their medical home. Through the clinic’s network of volunteer providers, every $1 raised is leveraged into $6.73 in medical services and community benefits.
